GrowthKit AI User Guide
Find business leads on Google Maps, check which numbers are on WhatsApp, and send each contact a personal message — all from one Windows app.
1Before you start
Requirements
- Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit).
- An internet connection.
- A working WhatsApp number on your phone, to link to the app.
Installation
- Run the installer
GrowthKitAI-Setup-2.0.exe. - If Windows protected your PC appears, click More info, then Run anyway, and accept the permission prompt.
- Choose the language and follow the steps. The app is installed in
C:\Program Files\GrowthKit AI, with shortcuts on the desktop and in the Start menu.
Uninstalling keeps your data (license, accounts, groups), so everything is there if you install again. To update, just run the new installer.
The tools

2Activation
- Open the app. The first time, the Activation Required screen shows Your Machine ID (16 characters).
- Click the copy button next to it, and make a license key for this Machine ID with the GrowthKit Key Generator.
- The key starts with
GK2.. Paste it in Enter License Key and click Activate Now.

You can see your license at any time in License Details: the owner, the expiry date, the enabled tools and the app version.

- This license is for a different machine: the key was made for another computer. Make a new key for this computer's Machine ID.
- The license expired on …: the license period has ended. Make a new key.
- The computer's date is earlier than the last time the app was used. Fix the date and time: the Windows date is behind the last time the app ran. Fix the date and time, then reopen the app.
A license works on one computer. If you change the computer or reinstall Windows, the Machine ID may change; make a key for the new ID.
3Linking a WhatsApp account
Every WhatsApp tool needs an account linked in Account Management. You can link several accounts; each one has its own browser profile.
- Click Add New Account and give the account a name (for example: Sales).
- Choose how to link it:
- QR Code: a QR code appears. On your phone open WhatsApp → Linked devices → Link a device and scan it. The code refreshes by itself.
- Phone Link (Code): enter the number with its country code, digits only (for example
201001234567). An 8-character code appears; on the phone choose Link with phone number instead and type it. - External Browser (For Your Personal Account): opens a visible browser window where you scan the code yourself.
- Wait for the success message. Linking stops after 5 minutes; you can simply try again.
Refresh Status checks that your accounts are still linked. If one shows as not linked, link it again.
4Contact Groups
Groups are the phone lists you use in the other tools (Sender and Filter). Every tool that produces numbers has a button to save them as a group.
- Click Create New Group and enter a name and a description.
- Add members in one of these ways:
- Add Member: type a number and a name.
- Import from Excel: accepts
xlsxandxls. The app guesses the phone and name columns and shows a preview where you can change them before importing. At the end it reports how many were added, already in the group, or not valid.
5Message Templates
- Click Create New Template and enter a name, a category and the message text.
- Below the text, Click to insert variable: inserts a variable at the cursor. The preview shows the message for a sample name and number.
- In the Individual Sender, pick the template in Apply Message Template; it fills the message.
See every variable in the variables reference.
6Individual Sender
Sends a message to every number in the list, one by one, with random gaps so it looks natural.
1. The message
- Write the text and use variables (like
{Name}). - Add Tab adds another version of the text. The app rotates them: the first number gets version 1, the second version 2, and so on. This lowers the risk of a ban.
- AI Generate writes different versions of your message with AI (needs a Gemini key in Settings).
- Attachments are sent with every message: media (image, video, file, sticker, voice or video note), a poll, a location, a contact or an event.

2. The numbers
- Upload Excel File: a file with a phone column (and optionally a name column and any other columns you want to use as variables). Download Sample gives you an example file.
- Paste Numbers, or pick a saved group in Select Target Group.
- Add Code adds the country code to local numbers; Remove Duplicates removes duplicates.

3. Settings and launch
- Open the settings and pick the account in Select WhatsApp Account.
- Wait between messages: 20 to 40 seconds by default. Rest Settings: a 2 to 5 minute pause every 15 messages. Your values are remembered.
- Click start. Stop ends the run at once, even during a wait.
At the end a message shows how many were sent, failed and skipped. Each number's status is in the table; export it with Export Excel. If you run the same list again, the app asks whether to skip the numbers that already got the message or send to everyone.
7WhatsApp Number Filter
Tells you which numbers have WhatsApp, and which of them are business accounts, before you send a campaign.
- Pick the account and paste the numbers (one per line, or separated by commas), or import them from a file or a group. Numbers must be in international form, with the country code.
- The app cleans the numbers, removes duplicates and tells you how many it left out.
- Click Start Checking. The numbers are checked one after another; after every batch (100 by default) the app pauses for a random time (1–10 seconds by default). Change both in Safe Mode Settings.

Each number ends up as: on WhatsApp (regular or business), not on WhatsApp, or Unknown when the check itself failed (try that number again later). Export with Export Excel, or keep the valid numbers with Save as Contact Group.
8Grab Chat List
- Pick the account and click Fetch Chat List.
- All chats appear with their type: person, group, channel or broadcast list. Use Direct Chats to see people only.
- Export to Excel, or click Save Selected to Contact Group to save the chats in the current view.

Groups, channels and chats whose number WhatsApp hides are not exported as phone numbers; the app tells you how many were left out.
9WhatsApp Label Extractor
For accounts on WhatsApp Business that use labels such as "New customer" or "Paid".
- Pick the account and click Fetch Labels.
- The labels appear, each with its chats. A chat with two labels shows under both; groups are marked 👥.
- Export a label to Excel or save it as a contact group.

10Google Maps Data Extractor
- In Search Queries (One per line) write one search per line, like
Restaurants in DubaiorGyms in Cairo. - Max Results (Per Query):
0(the default) means all results. - Grab Emails?: opens each place's website (and its
/contactpage) to look for an email. Slower, but useful. - Click START PROCESS.

For each place you get the name, category, phone, address, website, rating, number of reviews, Maps link and coordinates (and the email if you chose it). Results are saved as they come in to Documents\GrowthKit AI\Results; you can also export them with Export All Data or Export Phones Only.
11Variables
Variables work in the Individual Sender and in Message Templates; upper and lower case are the same.
| Variable | Becomes |
|---|---|
{{NAME}} {Name} | The person's name from the table. Empty if there is none. |
{{PHONE}} {Phone} | The person's number. |
{{DATE}} {Date} | Today's date (2026-01-31). |
{{TIME}} {Time} | The current time (14:05). |
{{RANDOM}} | A random 5-digit number, different in each message. |
{{KEY: Hi | Hello | Hey}} | One of the options, picked at random. Options may contain variables like {Name}. |
[SPOILER] {{SPOILER}} | Hides what follows behind WhatsApp's "Read more". |
{Any column} | Any column of your Excel file, like {City}. |
Example: {{KEY: Hi | Hello}} {{NAME}}, today's offer ends at {{TIME}}!
12Safe use
- Message people who know you or asked to hear from you. Reports from recipients are the main cause of bans.
- Keep the default gaps (20–40 seconds, with a pause every 15 messages) or make them longer, never shorter.
- Warm up a new number first: a few days of normal chats and small volumes before any campaign.
- Use several versions of the message (Add Tab or
{{KEY: …}}) instead of the exact same text for everyone. - Filter your numbers before a campaign; messaging numbers that don't exist raises the risk of a ban.
13Settings and maintenance
- Google Gemini API Key: only needed for AI Generate. Get one free at
aistudio.google.com. - Appearance & Language: the theme and the app language. Click Save Changes.
- Branding: show your own name and logo in the app. Type the name in App name and click Save Changes. Click Choose logo to pick a PNG or JPG file (up to 5 MB). Restore default brings back the original name and logo.
- Safe Browser Cleaner: clears temporary browser files if things get slow, without logging out your accounts.
- Fix Frozen Browser: when the browser won't open or says the account is open in another window. It closes GrowthKit's browsers only; your own Chrome is not touched.
- Update Browser Driver: if the browser stops opening after Chrome updates, click it (needs internet).

Where is your data?
- Accounts, groups, templates and settings:
%APPDATA%\GrowthKitAI. The app keeps a.bakcopy of each file and restores it automatically if a file gets damaged, then tells you. - Google Maps results:
Documents\GrowthKit AI\Results. - Error log:
%APPDATA%\GrowthKitAI\growthkit.log. Send it to support if something goes wrong.
If the problem continues, contact support with: the version number (from License Details), the message you saw, and the log file.
